Muddy River's September Double Header

In roller derby action on Sept 20 2014 Moncton's Lumbersmacks hosted Bangor Roller Derby from Maine. Unfortunately for the visitors, Moncton took the lead right off the start and never looked back, taking a 263-25 lead into halftime to eventually defeat Bangor by a final score of 515-46. Bangor ended up with a total of 31 penalties, compared to 23 for Moncton.

In the second part of a double-header hosted by Moncton's Muddy River Rollers on Sept 20 2014, the hometown Mad Hitters were up against Aroostook Roller Derby from northern Maine (Presque Isle and vicinity). The bout started out with each team scoring 4 points on the first jam, however Moncton started pulling ahead soon after. The Mad Hitters took a 164-69 lead into halftime and would go on to defeat Aroostook by a final score of 338-133. Aroostook ended up with a total of 39 penalties, compared to 19 for Moncton.
